Copies of July’s Selection Available Now

Copies of July’s selection, One for the Money, are available at the Park Entrance of the Library.

Marley and Me Replacement

We have three choices on the table for the Marley and Me replacement title:

1. The Poet by Michael Connelly

2. The Turn of the Screw by Henry James

3. The Old Wine Shades by Martha Grimes

Let’s talk about it and make our decision on July 7th.

Wednesday Evening’s Inaugural Meeting

Thanks to all who attended our very first meeting.  We discussed Carl Hiaasen’s Skinny Dip, which was a hit.  We all thought it was quirky and fun, and I found that I liked it more as time went on.  Our next book was supposed to be Marley and Me, but the group decided that while it’s a cute story, the ending was too sad.  Therefore, we’ve moved our selections up a month, and in July we will be reading One for the Money by Janet Evanovich instead.  Copies should be available soon at the Park side entrance.
